No idea of route, time, plan, or any of that jazz yet. But you know me, I'll sort something for y'all.

The last one was really rather pleasant for all concerned. We intend this one to be the same!

Fab, the last one was a hoot, would love to join in this one too!

If I can make it that weekend Jamie, you can jog alongside me, but only if you wait on the steep bits. ๐Ÿ˜€

(Built a new bike so should be a bit faster this time, got proper front boingy things too, still no gears though!)

I enjoyed the last one, hopefully i can get a day pass. I've been working on my fitness, i can now peddle 50% further before pushing which should cover the first 100m or so ๐Ÿ™‚

Excellent, I shall come to this, it gives me the perfect excuse to not do that race that I've totally failed to do any training for whatsoever, woohoo!

Sigh not this time either. Maybe next time. I will have been cycling in the Loire for work during the week though so it's not all bad.

Adey - it starts three hours before you think

DanDan- depends on which way you do it. And as others on this thread will testify, pootles are all about the people you're with, rather than the ride itself (which is normally fun anyway)

We have a few house rules
1) if you're fast, hold the gates and count the folks through
2) if you're slow - have something to talk about with the other 20 people with you
3) bring cake.

Pootles aren't a typical 'group ride'. I started them 'cos I hated being the person at the back. I wanted a group ride for the people at the back. There aren't any people at the back in a pootle.

Provisionally yes, as long as the guy I work with hasn't booked it off too. Dad should be around too.

Start near a station/pub so I can train it (or get a lift) and have a few.

Plus make it more technical than Pindale, it will automatically thin the numbers ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sounds perfect, could I possibly join you?

I'm looking for people to ride with but I've been worrying I'm not fast enough ๐Ÿ˜ณ
