Echo the above, cheers for sorting it all out Pook et al.

rogerthecat - glad you enjoyed the walnut, date and apple cake. Will try and remember to put the recipe up tomorrow.

Hells - have just finished the chocolate brownie you gave me, it really is the nicest I've had for ages ๐Ÿ™‚

Weather fairy was really kind to us today, it looks like most of the country was under rain clouds and wet again!

Many thanks to everyone involved can't wait for the next one.

Thankfully the weather played on our side. Who arranged that?

And the road closure?

Glad you all enjoyed it today everyone - I really enjoyed leading it. Always good to put faces to names and it was nice to see so many smiles.

Thanks to Jules as always for the help with guiding - and to all the bakers for the amazing cakes; you can all come again!

I've had a look at the vids and they're looking good. I'll get the edit done this week sometime.

๐Ÿ˜€

cheers all

Sorry for dreadful pic quality - iPhone lens is a wee bit scratched!

Starting to Wonder if I was a little 'underequipped' as the kit came out in the car park!

Farewell dear friend, it's been a good ride but perhaps after 20 years I should upgrade!!

Also, think I may need that photography coaching ride, when is it again? ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks so much to everyone for yet another fabulous Pootle!

I went through some spectacular weather on the way home so we were so lucky. Oh - and Bunnyhop, your cake was delicious! (I didn't get to try any others)

Yep, that was a grand day out as usual. Thanks as ever to Pook and nbt for route-deciding and cat-herding duties carried out faultlessly, and thanks to everyone else for being ace fun to ride with. Sorry I couldn't hang around for a pint, had to get home to entertain a small person for a bit. Cheers!

For the record I can now confirm, having lent him my pump, that Hora is in fact actually a real person...

Definately a very pleasant surprise this whole pootle lark! Even though I was initially a bit nervous at the concept of riding in such a humungazoid group, I thoroughly enjoyed it and how fantastic was the weather?! Big thumbs up to Pook for organising and leading it - top banana ๐Ÿ™‚ (edited to add: and Jules too!!)

Fantastic vid Tollah

Indeed, smashing stuff! I like it where he blasts past me like I'm doing a trackstand. Twice. I thought I was going quite well on those bits too. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Not at all, I managed to get onto your wheel on the last hill, it was highly entertaining and educational. I really need to brake less. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lovely day. Was there a disagreement at the top of Cavedale involving the big puddles? I said nowt but it was a wee handbag moment between two riders ๐Ÿ˜† (not me)

Onzadog and I (who ride together a lot) were playing silly buggers and splashing about like loons... That might have been us! Cracking ride btw... Forks are gonna cost a bit to be repaired.. Oh well.. I'll link my poor efforts at video making ASAP.
