ridden in the peaks a few times, so i know the hope/castleton area quite well, but having been there on a bike every time, i havent really twigged any good walks.

me and wifey are hopefully going to go on saturday, for a good old walk, beers in country pub, stay over the night, mebbes another shorter walk on sunday or mebbes just straight home after a hearty breakfast.

i spose the bridleways which i really enjoy on a bike, may not be too suited for walking.

so...........any suggestions? for both walks and b&b?

cheers

I've stayed here and it was fine. Nice oub clean comfy room upstairs. Friendly owner but not in your face

The ridge along from Hollins cross over Loose Hill for a walk that your not allowed to ride. All of the Edale sky line is good for a walk
