Anyone got an elevation profile for the flattyres Glossop-Cut Gate loop? Thinking about doing it at some point this summer but it's ~20 km longer than my current longest ride. Is the bit between Langsett and Glossop fairly easy in terms of climbing? Would probably be cream crackered by that point so want to know what I'll have to look forward to climbing on the home stretch!
No experience of riding it ... but if you follow the link GPX link on the page then you'll get an elevation profile.

Ah, assumed that was just a download file - thanks! 1576 m doesn't seem bad for that distance and the end seems pretty much downhill.
A similar section I have planned shows from langsett to Glossop to be about 15 miles with rough 400ft of climbing all in the first 3 miles. The flat tyres route looks like it climbs up and over to the TPT which may add another 100-200ft on? It looks like it is pretty much all downhill for from about mile 35 for you. Although I have never ridden past dunford bridge myself.
Hope that helps
My experience of Peak riding (and i love it there) is that rides are always harder than the stats. My "home" riding of Surrey Hills means (say) 75% climbs can be done on road or easy gradual bridleway. Peak climbs often technical and sooner or later for me a push.
Ride the Peak most weekends so thankfully that's my baseline for effort vs stats, it does make the odd trail centre excursion seem easy in comparison!
