I managed to damage the sidewall of my butcher, not big enough to be a hole but too big to have the stans do it's funky stuff. Would an old fashioned patch on the inside of the tyre work?

I extended my ride with a 40minute climb for a great decent and this happens just off the top. The Huck Norris's earned their money on a 4 mile ride back.

If you can get it to stick and it’s a little hole a normal patch may work. I tend to use the tip top tubeless repair patches. They’re a bit more industrial and come with a blue glue... but I’ve ridden around after fairly big gashes and they’ve been fine.

Use Dynaplug on the trail and always repair when back home with mushroom repair plugs. Never had one fail.

Put a 7-9mm slash in the sidewall of a brand new Hans Dampf which refused to seal and managed to patch that on the inside with a Tiptop rectangular patch...a slight bulge but so far so good
