So the Swiss have now withdrawn their nomination of uncle Pat for president of the UCI.
Let's hope this really does turn into a clear out of old rubbish.
It is of course not just the UCI, all sports organisations need to be modernised, be much more open in their dealings and connect much more to the grass roots of the sports.

he's now relying on the rule changes being voted on this week to allow two other countries to nominate him isn't he?
