Thinking of entering this but would be on my own , has anyone done it alone ? What's the event like to do ? Looking at going with ridersrefuge.
If the weather's good it's the best day out ever.
If the wether's crap it's ahem, character building.
I've had 5 good ones and one bad one. But even the bad one was good.
Sign up, you’ll met up with some people along the way. FWIW I have done it 3 times always in a group but we have had people join us who where on their own. It’s very busy so there is no risk of say falling and hurting yourself and being left alone/stranded. Enjoy, its a grand day out in company, imo best done as part of a few days riding and also seeking out the “dh” options
EDIT: Its a tour of the area, quite a bit of pedalling along. Quite a broad range of abilities (ie fairly novice riders), some good singletrack type sections but best if you take all the options and a few other sneaky ones which perhaps we can help with when we see the route. Saturday sells out quickly especially from resorts popular with Brits, Friday could be a good call. Start early and make most of food stops and enjoy the atmosphere. As I said best part of a longer trip (even if just 3/4 days) so you can ride more trails inc off-piste

Jambalaya , I've been looking at going with ridersrefuge in Morzine and the cost is inc in the holiday(Week ) . Says Friday or Sunday for the event but doesn't mention Saturday?
Is there plenty of singletrack or is there a lot of fireroad?

Saturday is their changeover day. So you’re either doing it the last or first day of your holiday
