as the title says. not been for a few years and used to park in the area by a small industrial estate on the Stocksbridge side but was frequented by THIEVES more often than not. Where to park safely these days then? Cheers
Best bet is by the Pheasant Pub in Oughtibridge and ride in along Station Lane then over the railway.
we always park at the trail head up in Greno Wood and never had any problem. I'm sure if you asked nicely in the pubs in Grenoside too, and bought a pint or two after, they wouldn't mind you having a space.
Incidentally, why are car parking spaces called "pogs"?
There have been a number of cars broken into in that car park pook, that's why most of us normally park by the pheasant for safety.
Down in Greno, near the little shop, is usually safe too.
Just don't leave anything on show...
