I have to say that Park Tools Customer support is great. My pump guage failed the other day and I got this as a reply as I emailed them for a spare part:

Thank you for your e-mail requesting a gauge for your PFP-2.
I will send you one today at no charge as a thanks for using our tools. For a step by step replacement procedure, see: http://www.parktool.com/repair/readinstructions.asp?id=302 .
Thanks,
Roger
Export Sales Director

Also my mate has problems with the Locking mech on his new work stand - they sent hime one part from the US by rapid airmail but did not cure the problem. The then send the whole lower section (v heavy steel) again and fixed it - all without any POP or photos etc. I know they are somewhat expensive (well mostly the facing tools and major workshop stuff) but their smaller items have lasted me very well over the years!

Sounds like pretty good CS from Park

I do have to say though that their generic tools are adequate & no more - they're certainly nowhere near Snap-on quality
There are much better quality tools to be had than Park
Bike specific stuff is difficult to source elsewhere so you're stuck with a handful of companies, Park probably being the best for most things.

True but not bike specific ones like you said?

Good tools, great customer service.

I'm sure there are better quality tools available but you pay for them - park are more expensive than some but not silly money and the after sales service has convinced me to stick with them.

amen ๐Ÿ˜‰
