Sent a pair of forks using DHL via Parcel Monkey, measured and weighed it OK and paid the right amount, got an email from them a few days after saying the dimensions I gave were wrong and that DHL had laser scanned it to something the size of a bike and charged me more money, luckily I kept a photo of the package as I do when sending insured parcels, so a credit will be given and they've accepted its their fault
But beware/prepared

I decided against parcel monkey for a number of reasons - seemed I couldnt use them unless I agreed they could keep my credit card details on file and t'internet is full of not nice experiences people have had.
Interparcel/Senditnow have been good to me over the years.
