"The Pan Celtic Race 2021 will be a 1258 mile / 2024 km self-supported cycling adventure, journeying through the Celtic Nations of Cornwall and Wales."
My sister in law is taking part in this race, 134 riders setting off in torrential rain yesterday about 10:30.
Although her day one was to be 'only' 110 miles torrential rain, headwinds and a hilly first day meant she didn't reach her accommodation until midnight.
Other riders are pushing through the night, the lead rider having covered more than 300 miles in less than 24 hours.
The race is being filmed by GCN with Mark Beaumont following one of the female competitors, though I'm not sure if he is taking part himself as he isn't listed on the live tracking.
More info and live tracking on the Pan Celtic Racewebsite.

Wow, that looks epic!
Though I notice the guitarist from AC/DC appears to be leading.

If it is _that_ Angus Young must be riding an electric bike! He's already crossed 400 miles about a third of the distance. The race end event is 10 days from the start so he's going to be early. Other riders still need to average over 120 miles a day...
Well he finished 2019 GBDURo in 2nd behind Lachlan so he has form.
I think this is what Jenny Graham is up to. I was looking at her Strava and was super impressed!
Edit: oh aye - she looks to be the leading female rider at the moment
A film about the 2021 race has been released;
The film about the 2019 one looked horrible! https://singletrackworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/video-pan-celtic-race-an-event-we-probably-dont-want-to-do/
