My tourer has a set of CX v brake rims with disc hubs, I'm only ever going to use discs, so was considering painting the rims (black) to match the remainder of the rim and bike.
Has anyone done this? Any advice appreciated.

Done it on a BMX loads of times.
Tyre off,
Bit of masking tape around the nipples,
Spin the wheel,
Blast away with your choice of spray paint
