As above... can anyone recommend/know anyone in Bristol to do some bits on our house? We'd like to smarten things up a bit! Thanks for any pointers...

I'm sure you didn't mean it like this, but my advice is to avoid anyone who claims to be a Painter/Decorator/Plasterer/Carpenter.
They will be average at all of them at best 😉
