Anyone else found Pace customer service to be a bit lacking?

I mean the girl(s) who answer the phone is really nice and helpful, they arent agressive and rude like others, but FFS they are really lame about getting on with it and letting you know what's going on. Both times they tell me not busy so will get done within a couple of days and both times its over a week, and I have to phone them about 3 times to even find this out and chase up getting forks seen to and returned.
If they werent servicing a captive market they surely wouldnt survive againt TF, mojo and loco attentiveness??

Try Tim at Fork English (if he's still going). Used to be a Pace bloke and now runs a service business - quick, helpful and competitive. Last used him about 4 years ago though so he may have moved on.

Only opened this thread to suggest what has already been said 3 times - Pace don't have a captive market, but I guess a lot of people aren't aware of Fork English.

+1 for Pace being quite rubbish. Agree that the girl on the phone is friendly but they never seem to have anyone there to answer questions either on the phone or via email. Have tried them a couple of times with questions about my DT forks and some Pace I was going to buy but have had to give up each time.

+1 about Tim at Fork English. I like my retro gear and he made a set of tired Pace RC35's like new for me 8)
