Anyone got one - what are they like? Are they as subtle and flexy as Pace suggest or are they as harsh as a chameleon?
Im wanting to upgrade my boardman comp frame and was looking at simply swapping everything over. I mostly ride trail centres red/black but i do occasionally go into local woods and do some fireroad xc type stuff with the missus. I am looking for a do it all that likes a bit of jumps, small drops and charging down normal red/black rocky obstacles.
shorlist:
chameleon, PA, 456, handjob, transition trans-am, stiffee
Im thinking the pace lies in the middle of that lot - less hardcore than trans-am but can handle a bit of rough and still be light enough for a bit of xc.
Would a rc305 work with a recon 351 fork, normally at 130mm and upgraded xfirm spring?
if anything, i found my one a tiny bit less harsh than the 456 that replaced it. Excellent frame, perfect for a 130
Fork. It's a good choice for the things you listed.
