What kind of weights are you're Pace 305 builds? I'd like a bike to ride all day in the Scottish hills and the Pace seems like a great all rounder.
Mine has no gears but it weighs 23lb. hope this gives you an idea!

Thats nice to know, mine is almost the same as stoneys, + XTR gears, but flyweight tyres, so mine cant be much more.
mine had some basic kit on it. slx,lx, mx comp forks and dt swiss 5.1 with hope hubs and it was surprisingly light. bet you can get one right down with high end kit on it.
Thanks folks, sounding better by the minute, if it was going to end up being a 30lb-er, I'm sure I'd be considering something else (was considering a Cannondale Taurine, but the Pace seems much more robust/fun). I have a Thorn Raven Enduro at present, but despite the rigid Pace forks it's still a tank (great for rough-stuff touring though). Any more info/reviews/photos on the 305 would be brilliant!
