It´s bloody cold here in Austria so I need overshoes. I bought some Castelli but they don´t fit over my Five ten Hellcats.
Can anyone recommend any?

I can just about get my ancient Endura MT500 overshoes over mine (size uk11.5). Not sure they’d last long doing it regularly, though.
I have had this problem when i used to commute in my Shimano AM45 spd's for 4 years which are quite bulky like the Hellcat's
You will struggle to get overshoes that fit over those style of shoes and will actually last any decent amount of time
The shoes tend to be too big for the overshoes as you have found out with the Castelli's
Also any walking done in the overshoes, even if its only 5-10 meters a day then they will start to fall apart around the bottom of the toe box and where the velcro sraps are on the underside
Plus i found overshoes a faff to put on and take off along with having to find somewhere to dry them when wet from rain, having to wash them down to remove road grit and grime etc...
After four years of faffing around with overshoes of various brands i treated my feet to some proper winter boots, makes a world of difference, your feet will stay dry and warm, they are easy to just wipe clean, no need to hang them up to dry, go on and off like a normal shoe etc...
I have a set of Shimano MW7 boots and paired with some nice winter socks and my feet have stayed dry and toasty in temps down to -8 degrees so far
The Shimano MW7's can be had for as low as £130 if you shop around, of course there are other brands of winter boots out there, including the cheaper Shimano MW5

Bin bags. Or some waterproof/wind proof socks inside?
