What are the current recommendations for a pair of decent overshoes? My Endura ones have given up after only a year-zip puller bust & zip tab adrift. I love the design of Endura stuff but swear this will be the last item I buy from them-they always fall apart & you have to factor in the cost of sending the item back for repair-sooo-----what's good?

You're not going to like this, but I highly rate these endura luminite:-

velcro rather than zips & are lasting well. Wouldn't recommended for purely MTB use as the overshoe hugs underneath at the front and back of the shoe like most do, and it covers the heal tread and toe studs. That is the case with most overshoes though.

They also work really well - fending off water & wind. They are the thinnest overshoe I've had, but they are way warmer than neoprene ones I've used.
