New bike time. 🙂

Before its first proper ride:

And after:

It's an XL Nukeproof Mega 290 Team. It missed a couple of its supposed arrival dates but I have it now and it's great fun. I'll never be able to push it to its limits but it may help me push my own.

Please address all lawn care complaints to Messrs Glen, Tress and Peel, of Peebles. 😛

How did you get the bike so dirty riding 0.5m backwards?

Looks sweet for an XL, that seat angle is a bit mental though.

Nukeproof's geometry table says it's 75.5 degrees. Mad by the standard of a few years ago but becoming more usual these days.

Looks nice.

0.5 metres of riding would get a bike that muddy on my local trails at the moment 😐

Don't be silly! He rode it all the way around that tiny tree.
2 metres at least.

He's making it a segment on Strava right now.

I am insulted and offended by your insinuations!

I don't use Strava!

Besides, the bike's huge, so the tree isn't as small as it looks. 🙂

I bet you could ride over the top of Northwind and his yellow monstrosity and not even notice.

Only if I'm wearing shades to protect me from the glare off its frame.

Presumably you wear a disguise too when you're out with him.

There's no need, nobody notices anything except the fatbike when it's involved in a ride.

@Steven, I was on the Hideous Remedy instead. I don't think Chris wants to bring a yellow-and-black bike to a yellow fight.

It's true. The Remedy is hideous. It's impressive how much ugly Trek has managed to engineer into its down tube.
