I know this has cropped up in the past.

This is just for my 5 mile commute. I use five ten free rider shoes with cube all mountain flat pedals. I bought some waterproof trousers but the shoes just get soaked. Not really keen on buying a set of waterproof shoes as I think the spray always finds a way in.

I am thinking of getting some Endura MT500 over shoes and making some small neoprene (cut up old wetsuit) pockets to put over the pedals, this would stop the pins cutting through the bottom of the over shoes. Any one got better suggestions. Like I say just for a 20 mintue commute so not to worried if the pedals are not too grippy, just want dry shoes at the end.

thanks

possible but I ride off road a lot and would always be switching pedals around, best a good suggestion.

Sports direct Muddy Fox overshoes are less than £10.00.

Buy, wear, ride and see how long they last 'ignoring' any damage until it becomes critical?
