I'm moving from outlook express onto a new computer with windows live, I've moved the emails but it's not moving the read emails that we need.
Any tips?
I thought that Outlook esp and win live used a different mail format to each other, so you need to convert the old ones. Possibly.
I can get the emails into windows live, its just the ones that have been read that aren't convertable
I moved a few thousand email from outlook to Google using smtp (I think) and everything worked perfectly well so you'd hop going between 2 Microsoft products should work well.
I can't think why some would work and others wouldn't
Done it. Marked all the emails as unread then moved them. Now my mums just got 4000 old emails to sort through 🙂
