Damn. We’ve been subscribing to Outdoor Provisions for our bike based snacks for about 2.5 years and just got an email saying all subs were paused because it looked like the company was coming to the end of its journey 🙁

Annoyingly I just pushed back our last delivery as we had a few more than normal due to not getting out so much. However all remaining stock has 50% off.

Real shame to see yet another small business fall by the wayside and now I need to find another bar I can stomach and is as condense.

Bad news indeed. Thanks for the heads up.

Sad to see them go, but these days - and especially when I can get a sample box of 7 SIS gels at Quality Save for a fiver, I can't afford these sort of luxury ingredients for stuff that I'm going to just cram in my mouth and wash down in a rush. And I bet I'm not the only person looking at that sort of stuff and scratching around for cheaper alternatives.

https://wearetribe.co/ seem to be a similar outfit and also have a National Parks tie-in so wonder if related? I quite like their 'triple decker' bars so tend to get a few in when they have one of their frequent offers on and I can't be arsed making another batch of flapjacks.

Tis a shame but I do wonder how many companies like this really haven't had a sound financial basis. Some of the cycling clothing companies seem to be in the same way. All of them including OP seems to be very niche. Never heard of OP by the way.

Sadly, (or is it?), luxury goods suffer when things are tight.

Shame, used them since featured in Fresh Goods Friday a few years ago. Really liked them as they're tasty enough for when out on the bike, but I'm not at all tempted to devour them at home when I have a snack craving. Expensive though, and I only bought bulk when they had 20-30% off.

Yes. Few small companies seem like an idea someone would love to do and went for it. Or (on etsy in particular) essentially a hobby for someone whose partner earns well.
