I've got a big tub of SIS build that expired in October. Will I die if I start using it now?

SIS never goes out of date - just out of index.

It'll be fine. I've been using some up that was much older and I'm still here...

I always treat 'best before' dates as a guide only and sniff-test anything that's past its 'use by' before consuming. Isn't SIS just sugar and carbs - didn't think that would go off very quickly.

I'll use it then. Just wondering how slow out of date protien mix would breakdown and become less efffective?

If you shit yourself on your first big effort on a ride then it's probably time to throw it out

I used some 6 months out of date the other week and Im still here

I did have a rubbish ride and vomitted at the top of the first hill though
.....but that was possibly related to the previous evenings beer and that mornings greasy breakfast ๐Ÿ˜†

I found a can of Relentless that is out of date in the fridge the other day too, not sure I'll risk that one
