I'm a big fan of the Oury mountain grips which are on my commuter, but they don't seem to be readily available in the UK from anywhere.

Has anyone seen any around, or can recommend something similar?

If you want a large and softish grip, i really like the race face strafe grips, I have used the oury mountain grips and the odi rouges (which is the other option) in the past, but replaced them all with the strafe's now.

I believe a similar effect can be achieved by strapping a car tyre to each side of the bars. Offensively thick grips.

Lizard Skin Northshore grips. I've just taken a set off as they were too thick for me - might be just right for your manly mitts

Thing is, I actually have pretty small hands, I just find these and ESI silicone grips really comfortable. I think its the lack of knobbly lock-on bits!
