I have an Osprey. Is that the same?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

(Please note overuse of the question mark)

The Raptor 6 is an excellent bag, but with small capacity for kit. I would look at the 10, if I was you. Still smal enough, but with space for a proper day ride.

The Talon 22 is an excellent all-day pack for riding with.

I have a Raptor 14 and is a fantastic piece of kit, full of innovative features and well put together.

I ride with a Raptor 10 - really like it, decent hydration system that you can slide in and out of its compartment even when the pack is fully loaded. Ideal for day rides, enough room for a waterproof, pump, tools, a couple of tubes, food etc, but not oversized. The magnetic attachment for the bite-valve works well. Quality seems good. Enough pockets, internal dividers etc. Comfortable and stable for me. I'd prefer zipped belt pockets rather than the elasticated ones, but it's not the end of the world.

I've used a Viper 4 as a lightweight race pack - soloing - more minimalist and lighter. Don't know what the larger version's like.

Just to add some balance. I have a Raptor 18 and we don't get on. Worn it for 2 or 3 rides and I just don't fit the the shape (or it doesn't fit me). Try one loaded up in a shop before buying. (or buy mine going on ebay soon!!!)
