Hey all

Would like to get a good list of MTB event organisers together. So far:

UK Cycling Events
Glorious Gravel (not bad for MTB depending on the event)
British Heart Foundation

Any others? There used to be Wiggle and Evans but I think they’ve stopped them.

Am in South East if that makes a difference.

Cheers

Don't know what sort of thing you're after but on top of Southern Enduro there's:

Channel Events

These guys run 3 organised mountain bike events in Somerset/North Devon.

I've done a few and they're a mix of XC and some Enduro'ish bits and pieces. Usually well organised with clear marking of the route etc...

What happened to Polaris?
I used to do loads, years ago, but the entry fees got silly & I stopped.

www.roughrideguide.co.uk do a few, more aimed at fun, sociable challenges than racing such as london to brighton off road at night, Bikes n Beers (brewery rides) and supported group rides on the likes of the King Alfred's Way

Polaris was taken over by OMM and was run parallel with the Mountain Marathons.
However they don't seem to have run one recently.
Anybody know why?

@FOG

Various reasons mainly revolving around the difficulty in getting land owners to allow access and the unfortunate passing of the main man earlier in the summer will impact things.

Trailbreak run a pretty decent calendar of mostly XC/Gravel events in the Surrey Hills, South Downs and SE. They've been doing it since the 90's so they're always incredibly well planned and organised.

Thanks a lot guys. I will look at these later. For some reason my phone is t displaying well.
In answer to question above about what type of event…. Non race but lots of cross country, like South Downs way or lon to brighton off-road, etc.
cheers.
