Currently have a Fox RP23 standard volume, non-boost valve shock on there. Its not great, has a chip on the shaft and therefore needs a service and replacement.

Options are:

TFTuned service, and new shaft- £150ish?

Or

TFTuned service, and Kashima upgrade (either low or high volume) is £180/200. Push Tune is another £50

Or

New CTD Evoloution/Factory from TFTuned- £279/329

Or

New CTD Evoloution/Factory from elsewhere, not tuned as per TFTuned but a bit less ££

What would you recommend?

Yep, I'm also finding the new CTD shock to be a little linear. A nicely tuned RP23 would do the job nicely. Obviously CCDB air is great in theory if you've deep pockets...

Or I could sell you a brand new 2012 HV - Adaptive Logic - Kashima shock for £180.

Glad I specced my Five AM with the CCDB air, its really really good. My advice, just splash the extra cash and go without food for a couple of months 🙂
