My Orange Five Pro was stolen from an underground car park in Simpson Loan, Edinburgh on Wednesday 15th August night. I feel that it is quite distinctive, so there may be a chance that it will be noticed. It has been upgraded with XTR and better wheels – and gold bling!

I would really appreciate it if you could keep an eye out for it. I would very much like it back.

2009 model, Size: 16”, Plasma Blue, silver decals. Several components are gold anodised
Modifications from standard:
• Gear changers. Manuf.: Shimano. Model: XTR
• rear deraillier. Manuf.: Shimano. Model: XTR
• Front forks. Manuf.: Fox. Model: Float ‘FIT’
• handlebars gold anodised. Manuf.: RaceFace. Model: Turbine
• brake levers Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope. Model: V2 (Might be X2 – I cannot recall)
• clipless ‘SPD’ pedals. Manuf. Shimano. note that they are not the gold ‘flats’, as shown in photo
• Front, outer chainwheel gold anodised. Manuf.: Middleburn
• Wheels (custom built about 2 months old & not the ones shown in photo.
o Rims. Manuf.: Stan’s ‘no tubes’. Model: ZTR Crest
o Hubs Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope. Model: Pro II evo
o Spokes silver
o Front brake disc Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope.
• Tyres. Manuf.: Continental. Model: ‘rubber queen’ (almost new)
• front & rear gear cables Gold, with oilers
• Steering head bearings Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope.
• Bottom bracket (crank bearings) Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope.
• Seat post clamp Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope.
• Rear brake caliper cap Gold anodised. Manuf.: Hope. (front is standard black)

Distinctive marks: One of the decals ‘Orange’ on the left hand side is scratched and there is a wear mark on the front forks where the hydraulic pipe rubs

If you do see it, could you tell the Lothian and Borders Police on: 0131 662 5096
Ref. Incident no. 673 – 16/08/12

Many thanks,

Dave

I'm new to this forum. I'm just trying to find my bike.

Can you see the photo I've tried to add to the post? That would be helpful.

Many thanks,

Dave

It's distinctive enough. I'll keep an eye open.
