Hi everyone,
I've been looking on the orange website to find out if the new style 10 speed xtr trail cranks (m980) will fit an orange five.
Are the crank arms the same between the double and triple models with only the chainrings differing? I'm running 1x10 so i'm hoping i can take my renthal 34t chainring, chuck it on the xtr's and it all work ok with the correct chain line?

Im running the new xtr trail on my five with a 34t hope ring and mrp mini g2 sl with no problems

I've got the XT double and it can't take a bashring as there are no mounts for an outer ring. So as long as you're not intending to run a bashring then you'll be ok.
