Fools Gold is metallic beige.

Black looks rubbish quick once the shine has worn off.

Orange is the way to go.

(Mine is Chrome Grey, but I wanted it right then!)

I think all bikes look a bit crap when the gloss has come off TBH (Owner of a Disco Black Five 🙂 ) - Cover it in Helecopter tape - keeps its shine then 😉

Don't they have metallic bottle green? I'd go for that.

Not your average colour (Brass Monkey):

But you'll note not a massive difference to:

So a proper 'bloke' colour as you don't notice the dirt so much ..... 😉

I've just knocked up a photoshop of an '08 ST4 with Chrome Grey and '09 Rebas with my finishing kit before I hit order tomorrow. It's either chrome grey, red or white for me.

Almost colour related - What do you 5 owners do to protect the swinging arm from chain slap? - helicopter tape? those neoprene covers look a bit much on a 5, i think.

It doesn't matter what colour it is, try explaining the colour to the police when you get it nicked

"what make sir?"

"Orange"

"No, the make?"

"Orange"

OK what colour is it?

"Slime Green"

"I thought you said it was Orange!?"

I use a clear tape to cover swing arm
very easy to do. I bought mine from
onlinebikes about £10 pounds for a large sheet.

Dont know where you are but onlinebikes are near Buckhurst hill
near Epping but do offer a good mail service.

No offence meant, but that bike is gopping.

No offence taken! 😀
The colour combo with the forks is all wrong, but hey, you don't look at the mantlepiece when you're poking the fire. It certainly makes picking out race pics easier from those massive online albums - as you can just scan through and easily spot the bright green bike!

A plain Orange is actually quite a dull Orange - go for a neon Orange and not only will you have smile every time you open the garage, but you will also ride faster - FACT! 😉

I'd say sparkle blue, but they don't offer it any more. Not much help really, but it is (was?) the mutts.

What? You look at your frame when you're riding? Really?

I quite like the bright blues and also the yellow ones, but for you should really step up to the plate and get a neon pink one!
