[Closed] Orange - choose me a colour.

Saw an orange P7 in Bikedebts on Saturday. It looked georgeous. I've got a white one, which I thought looked good till I saw that. Now I'm insanely jealous.

But if I had the choice, I'd probably go for black. Classy, timeless, and no components are going to clash with it! 😀

PS. I think the orange paintjob looks hideous 😕

aye - my wife likes the blue and hates the neon orange.

passion red is no good as a friend has that so we might get into a muddle.
the black or chrome Grey is quite tempting.

It's got to be the fully orange one in Biketreks in Ambleside. I'd have sold the kids to buy it if I could have found a bidder.

Chrome Grey all the way

Im with Iainc on this one, just got my pro in mandarin orange, the past 15 years i have been mainly riding matt black so was a big step but i love it.

I think you know the colour you really want - it was there on Saturday, and i don't mean mine (although passion red is super) 😀

2 possible choices.......Chrome grey or passion red.....red red red red red....

I am off back again on the 14th Nov for a second take on the two bikes, but I think you are right on the colour.

mine is an 08 mandarin orange, but I think they may have changed the tone of it a bit since then ? the standard colours when I bought it were black, fools gold and white (I think). I dithered between orange and apple green.......

I sometimes ride with a guy who has the neon one and it's waaaay bright -)

Neon green is pretty damn bright!

Their new orange is very orange. I think it's got a flamboyant clear top coat to it.
No one interested in pink? 🙂

I've had a look at the powdercoat swatches they have at the factory and there are a lot of tempting colours. Too many... you're bound to pick one and then see another one a week after you get your bike.

i had a demo on the luminous pink...not bad colour but i opted for 'apple green' in the end...

No offence meant, but that bike is gopping.

i had to take a detor on my bike ride yesterday and head to the bike shop where some guy wanted to see the APPLE GREEN in the flesh....so to speak.. yep he liked the colour.... hes buying an ornage five ..
saw a nice orange 'Alpine' being built in the back room too...brilliant these orange bikes.... one word...AWSOME 😀

If you're going to get one of those fugly things, surely you have to get it in the proper orange colour.

Grantway: Yes I think so. It's SLACK :D, although currently in the not as slack setting so maybe 66 degrees. Handy things those movable shuttles.

i've got a chrome grey one but i saw a brand new apple green five waiting for it's new owner at the llandegla trail shop a couple of weeks ago - looked absolutely amazing...

black = boring and unimaginative

isn't there a really long thread with lots of orange five colours on here somewhere? There was a neon pink one with pikes on it that looked cool. They also do a "hazard yellow" which is quite rare. and Dirt mag had a raw ally one which they polished up to a high shine which looked amazing. Failing that i think the fools gold and apple green are nice colours.
