Does anyone know the name of the neon yellow/pink orange bikes come in?
Thinking of getting a frame powdercoated in this colour, any reccomendations for powdercoaters?
Thanks

Yeah but some peoples neon pink/yellow look a lot different to others, looking for the exact name like a pantone number or the like.
Thanks

IIRC Vaughan (from Orange) posted on SDH once, that all the colours are custom to Orange.

Someone asked a very similar question on there.

I'd have thought that any decent powdercoaters should be able to get hold of neon powder - Orange can't be the only company in the world that wants to powdercoat stuff in eye watering colours...

Sure if you ask someone decent like Triple-S (I stand by reccommending Triple-S because they're superb!) they should be able to get something in. Think they only have a limited range of 'normal' colours in stock but said they could get anything when I've asked before... Worth a try?

If you are powdercoating a bike make sure the powdercoating firm is familiar with doing bikes as any heat treatment on frame should be taken into consideration.

Orange costs £££

(£200 for powdercoat service)

My local powdercoaters did it for £40...

Make sure you price up neon paint at the powdercoater first as it costs lots more then a standard colour.

I've used Triple-S and can confirm they're ace. My old Orange Clockwork frame cost a bit less then £60 to be stripped and painted. I enquired about having my 5 done in their stock neon orange (think Dynorod)and after you price up the decals, postage + pivot replacement Orange chuck in Triple-S were not that much cheaper.

Do bear in mind Orange also sort out threads/bearings/facing as part of the cost IIRC...

Try Bettablast in Newcastle for powder coating.

Not sure were you are but fastline powdercoaters in Preston were fantastic, dipped the frame, blasted with grinding dust, powdercoated then baked, all for £50 and the job is superb.

In N.Ireland so powdercoaters used to coating bikes don't really exist over here. Most list radiators/gates as items they usually spray so a bit reluctant to have them coat my frame.
Thanks
