[Closed] Orange Alpine / Commencal Mini DH - Mega Options?

Afternoon All,

My first post on here... but I have been a long time follower of this forum and a glitch in our work IT system allows me to write 😀

I am looking for some advise thoughts on Bikes for next years Mega (as many of you are). So here are my thoughts / brain dump.

My regular ride is an 09 Orange Five pro. Not a pretty bike but I can't fault it. I have narrowed my Mega bike options to two:
1) Commencal Supreme 6 (aka Mini DH)
2) Orange Alpine 160

I am swayed towards the Mini DH as it gets a great write up and sounds like such a fun bike to ride. It would become my UK fun / jump / DH bike.
The Alpine is the Alpine - do it all bike with great write ups. But is that far of a step above my already great Five?

So thoughts please... Mini DH / Alpine owners please give me reviews. Are they Mega worthey bikes? 6" travel and can be peddelad.

Also is it work holding out for 2011 models or grabbing a bargain now on the clear out 2010 stock. Are there any differences that we know about?

I should add that I am a Mega virgin and 2011 will be my first. Am currently training my butt off to get fit for it - expect more posts about training and fitness in the future.
