the 2010 came with 27.2 diameter and I think a 400mm in length?

standard is about 350ish.

I have a thompson at the moment but would buy a hope next time to match the rest of the kit. Depends on budget, i have just bought a ragley post new for about 25 for my blue pig as it seems to do the job and has height markers on it.

Doesn't it depend exactly when you got it. Although in theory 2010 had a 27.2mm seat post and 2011 models (available mid 2010 I think)had a 30.9mm seat post, and there's often a bit of cross over with Oranges. Measure it. Or given it's a big difference, order it from somewhere you can send it back if you got the wrong size (it will be obvious).
