feedback welcome, looking at getting a winter jacket and wondering how warm, or not, the Castelli Mortirolo would be. Which bits are windproof and which bits are not. I know e everyone is different but I am trying to establish what Castelli mean when they give temperature ranges.

Bit like the gore soft shell but better ventilated due to the variety of materials used - particularly on back. Front is wind proof. Front zips open to vent.
I have two in large - one unworn the other max twice - if cut price makes the decision easier

If you want a warm but breathable winter jacket then the Cafe du Cycliste Albertine jacket is pretty good.
