Which euro alp resorts are reliable for good riding and access in late June? Need somewhere to go between passportes du soleil and mega avalanche. Been trawling through many websites but most resorts open their lifts 1st/2nd week of July.
All of Austria, Leogang would only be an 8 hour drive or so
obvious choice is to do the Mountain Of Hell!
That would be an epic 3 weeks!
Just stay in morzine. Loads of riding there. Some lifts open mid June with the rest open from the 23rd
most of the main artery lifts will be. For example, I'm pretty sure all the main ones in Chamonix and Argentiere start to open from beginning of June. what about the Gornergrat railway or Montenvers? or the main lifts at Zermatt, saas fee, saas grund or other tourist hotspots.
NB I've got no idea if any of these places are any good for MTB or allow access.
