oops shock problem

Ok so got a problem my new shock wont fit the conventional way so tried it this way seems to work ok will the wheels fall off

I don't think it matters at all. Some bikes are factory fitted with the shock 'upside down'

Fine.

With air shocks being the way they are, that kinda is the conventional way anyway....

Why won't it fit? Just turn it over so the Propedal/Rebound is on the underside.

Yeah don't think it matters.

Only thing I was thinking is that the float fluid would settle away from the seals when left standing...not sure whether that could be a potential issue as I'm guessing in use it'll all get moved around again

The bulge on the air chamber is touching the top tube
