So the rear wheel on my ratbike exploded and given that a new one was gonna be at least 50 quid i decided it would be much more sensible to scratch the Roadrat itch that had been building for a while.
Really don't get why they dropped black, Cy himself said on here at one point that it is commercial suicide not to offer it. I would have bought one new, even gritstone would've been fine... But anyway big thanks to Cripsin from here for sorting me out with a nice long version mk2 with full bonty kit for a very reasonable price!
Parts bin raided and vouchers spent, I've built it up to a spec im very happy with 🙂

cool, not sure about those straps but I like the look of it.
42x16 is getting on for 70", which I reckon is about spot on for road SS.
I quite fancy one of these as an n+1

Used to have a pompino commuter with guards, v-brakes, punctureproof tyres and other sensible but weighty stuff. Would quite like a seriously light road SS just for occasionally messing about on.
