Anyone using these tubeless??

They get good reviews but there seems to be a lot of comments that they are very hard to set up tubeless, loose/baggy beads seem to be the problem. Now if the tyre is a bit baggy put another couple of wraps of tape in surely..

anyway any STW experience of using them tubeless and what are they like?

I tried with a set of the 26" 2.35 versions.

Failed miserably.

Interesting comments. I know two people who have used these and both were impressed with how easily they went up (both in Easton rims if memory serves).

However, both blamed the tyres for multiple crashes, one blamed the front, the other blamed the rear.

I rode some on a test bike, think it was that bloody lovely airdrop, and I really liked them as a tyre.

There was a thread the other week about this. The came fitted in 29 x 2.4 55a format on my bike. I found them bloody lethal as a front tyre and not great as a rear personally, some said it was the compound. I'm not so sure, I still run one as a rear currently and it's doing an OK job I the dry. Wet roots though no traction at all.

I've got these (27.5) tubeless with a stan's rubber rim strip/valve (it was my first try at tubeless and so threw money at the problem rather than going ghetto) in sun ringle rims. Work brilliantly. Barely ever have to top up the air pressure and haven't burped them yet. Reminds me. I really ought to refresh the sealant before Morzine ๐Ÿ˜‰

In had a pair and had no problems setting hem up tubeless at all.

I thought they were decent tyres in the dry but sketchy in any other conditions.
