Hi folks just looking for some advice relating to an order I recently placed at an oline bike shop.

The order (stem) was placed last Friday and was posted that day it should have been here in 2-3 days. I contacted the seller today to be told I need to wait until the 4th Novemeber for them to do anything about it. Now I can understand waiting a few more days than quoted but 3 weeks seems a bit excessive. Im looking forward to getting out on my bike but dont want to have to wat another 14 days to do so.

Am I being unreasonable?

order elsewhere

when the original turns up simply send it for back for a refund

The order should be quicker - but if the delay is in the post office you have to wait until it can be dealt with

Thanks, yup I think my best option would be to just buy elsewhere and either send it back if it does show or get refund after said amount of time.

Cheers.

Royal mail is not very reliable. Officially it's not lost until three weeks has passed, so seller can't claim.
If it's a low value item I would resent now and get buyer to return the second if it ever shows up.

Indeedy 15 working days to be more specific IIRC

Annoying but I've had one of the big online stores (wiggle/merlin or crc I forget) say the same to me.
