Someone is trying to break Tommy Goodwin's miles in a year record of 75065 miles.
What do you think of that?
I think it's old news

Tommy Godwin innit, not Goodwin.
Not sure what to think.....modern TT bike will make it much easier, maybe modern roads will help too, although possibly increased traffic means Godwin had it easier on that front.
Fair play to him for having a go, but in years to come, I reckon more cyclists will have heard of Tommy Godwin than whomever it is that's having a go a breaking his record.
I noticed the list of 'host requirements' has been reworded to sound slightly less diva!
So it has, and better for it!
What do you think of that?
Not a lot.
Blimey, that's the reworded version!!! Please tell me that someone has a cached version of the original ๐
I thought that too TomB. He sounds like a dobber in that version so the original must be a belter.
Reworded? As in added more words?
That's a right slab-o-text.
Edit: Is this the original?
Bottom of page 2 on the linked thread DrP posted it as was.
