Bit of a random one, but wondering if anyone out there riding a medium Enduro 29er can advise if a 420 reverb can be dropped/Slammed all the way into the frame?

I can't find any dimensions ont he specialized site to work this out.

It's just to figure out if it needs a 420 or the 380 version

Cheers Dave

You got a local concept store? The guys in my local one are normally spot on with advice and should know their own bikes inside out, might be worth giving one of them a ring.

Don't know if it helps but my Command post on a 2014 medium S Works Enduro 26" is 405mm for the 125mm drop

I've got the Medium Enduro 29er and I'm 5'10 and use the 380mm with 125mm drop and its perfect ... well I say perfect as the sodding thing is STILL away being replaced under warranty ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

My 420mm Reverb stealth does on a large. Can't see why it wouldn't on a medium.

Cheers guys. Its actually for a friend out in Finland. he's having no luck getting an answer locally.

Tracey, can you drop your command all the way down into the frame? (Lower 30.9 part) or does it get stuck on the bed by the shock linkage?

Yes it can be dropped all the way into the frame. We have two of the IR ones and have to drop and twist Abigales to get it on the bike rack, seat under another bikes handle bars. My old Enduro frame had a normal external routed cable and that would also drop fully.

Also think that the hole in the frame is too small for a Reverb cable

I have a 380 drop and 125 post on my medium frame.

Due to the kink there really isn't much room down there; I'd be opting for the 380 version to be on the safe side.
