[#1230854]

I was talking to the Rangers this afternoon and they told me about this, (the clown tried to drive down Weacombe). 🙄
They had to get a 4WD tractor to rescue him.

Tim Russell said the bloke turned a bit white when told if the tractor couldn't get him out the only other option was a Chinook 😆

Can't we wage war on these Muppets ???
How about a "Pied Piper Of Hamlin" style operation... lead them down into some deep, dark combe.. and then string the bast8rds up !!
Sure "Sharkie" would be up for a bit of that sort of action.. 😈

So what happens next ?
Does the "asshole" have to cough up for being rescued, and does prosecution follow ??

maybe call for something other than a Chinook helicopter to 'help' then?...not sure that it be too trail friendly tho'.

more seriously from a Public Rights of Way perspective, the vehicle is clearly way 'off piste' (to put it politely) it would be interesting to know what the consequences are...BlackDown over on Mendip has been taking a real hammering from 'illegitimate' 4x4 useage too

It's like a parking fine. It's barely a disincentive.

Almost certainly.
Would a good ground anchor & winch not pull it out then? If not, i assume just coz it's got nice big holes where's he's sunk?
