Suggested a mate buy that Inbred with SLX and Rockshox on C2W.
He finally got his voucher, but they've now sold out.
What XC type all rounder with a bouncy fork should he now buy from them at under 1k?

alfine'd whippet would be top of my list if I had to go for midget wheels.

The recons should be OK, but they can always be upgraded at a later date.
