Hello

Have just bought a 2nd hand inbred frame in white. I know it has a few chips/rub marks on it so am planning on tidying it up with a car touch up paint before I build it up. Does anyone know which car "white" colour (eg VW Arctic... Ford Snow... etc etc) will give the best match to the On-one "white".

Cheers

Tippex?

I found a rusty orange provided the best match.

I use domestic appliance touch up paint - it's white enough ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers.. Need to get some whatever so will browse halfords later. The paint is "pure" white and not creamy at all isn't it?

It's an inbred so it was painted with tippex in the first place ๐Ÿ˜‰ I use model plane enamel paints, cheap and very tough, and easy to work with.

It's pearlescent is it not? A bog standard white would look better than nothing though.

Aye, it's vaguely pearlescent. I got a small tin of Humbrol (think it was Satin White, but I can't find it now so can't tell you the code) from the local model shop and used that.

You want "fridge white".
