1st ride on mine tomorrow (on the rear), but it looks fantastic.

Not much help I know.

Have a look at the option of the Chunky Monkey on the front as well.

I ordered one yesterday with a Chunky Monkey for the front, a pair of tyres for £27 - definately worth a punt!

Have been looking at these too. Have rebas or exotic carbon forks for my 29er so wondering whether to go with Chunky Monkey front and Smorgasbord rear or Smorgasbord front and rear.

It's not quite what you were after but I took a shiny new chunky monkey out this morning for a particularly filthy ride in the Mendips, plenty of wet root and leaf and was pretty impressed, especially given the price.

The tread on the smorgasbords doesn't seem to be that dissimilar so I reckon they've got to be worth a punt.

Very pleased with mine out back on 29er. Set up tubeless very easily. Little bit heavy maybe, but tough and grippy and cheap. Bargain in fact.

Even the Smorgasbord's are very big, and a Reba doesn't have much clearance...

Has been a few threads on the tyre in the past few months, few different opinions as you might expect. I personally didn't get on with it very well, but then you might. Certainly they're cheap enough to not worry about if you don't like them!

mboy - that is a very good point. I was hoping to run it with either fork but maybe a full set of smorgasbords would be better. Just want some cheap tyres for general pootling rides when I do a fair bit of gravel paths and mixed use.
