Guess I’ll never get to test their lifetime warranty. Great bike but I’m contemplating selling to help scratch the short travel full sus itch
I think roughly this order
scaffold white inbred SS
uncle John
456
pink bred SS and Geared
one of the early carbon road bikes
Getting 'sick' on my Planet X Armadillo (if the Instagram link works....)
Inbred in SS flavour (should have kept it! 🙁 )

45650B, still ridden quite regularly, as this is my only 'real' MTB with gears and suspension... 🙂 Nice successor of the Inbred, I really like it even after all those years.

My old 456 still in use touring on The Great North Trail last year

Red Inbred for me. Great bike, many a happy day out with good people. Well mostly good 😁
Thankfully vowed to myself about 5-6 years ago i'd never buy from PX again and have saved myself a lot of time and effort..
I have a couple if great bikes from them, followed by..
- A Fatty trail fat bike where seat tube was too big so needed a Coke can shim, they denied this..
- First Scandal that rear end was so wonky rear wheel rubbed frame
- Second Scandal frame where the first hose guide was tight to the inside of the headtube in the main triangle, that you physically couldn't get the hose to run through it, their solution, why not cable tie it on instead..
Final straw was a Reverb seatpost i sent back as faulty, they denied ever receiving it, even when i gave them the name of the person who had signed for it... 5 months later and a threat of small claims court, and they seemed to find it, but then got a string of offensive FB Messenger messages from an employee who had found me on Facebook and though it would be funny to drunkenly message me, PX washed their hands of it.
Heard some great stories about them including getting a load of factory seconds Giro helmets direct from italy, only for the actual UK Importer to wonder where all these warranty returns were coming from with faulty helmets....
