Hi guys!
Curious to see what travel people prefer on their fork for the On One Inbred (not 456).
I have the 'recommended' 100mm and would like to go up to 130 (feels 'low' as it is).
Anyone?
thanks.

None, rigid forks built as a single speed ๐Ÿ˜†

i usually ride rigid carbons but rode some fox 130mm 32s in wales over summer and some local stuff. All i can say is for general xc and climbing the forks are massive overkill...point it down a nice downhill with bumps and roots and the bike feels like its got limited rear travel ๐Ÿ˜ Loved it especially with a 2.4 nobby nic at low pressure on the front. Im not great at fast descents but the bike was muching up corners and kept telling me to go faster. ๐Ÿ˜›

do you mean your bike feels low and you want a longer length fork ? Or you need more travel ? longer travel wont always raise the front of the bike , its the fork crown to axle length that sets the height(in simple terms).

i have 100-130 u-turn revs on mine, run as singlespeed. I very rarely run them at less than 130 though. I like the ride with the slacker feel and longer forks.

Yes, revelation 100-130 is what I'm thinking too... thank yiu all for input!

PS I just can't dig the single speed idea at all.

90-130 Talas on my 853, feels right at 130 dropped to 110 for the climbs. The front feels low at 110 on the flat to me. The 100m is now quoted to pass the CEN test I beleive.

I've recently put 120mm forks on mine after a year of running rigid forks. I bought some spacers to drop the travel to 100mm but thought I'd try it at 120mm first - feels great, so never bothered to change them.

100mm rebas. Feels spot on for Purbecks ups and downs. Much better than my old 456 with 140mm pikes on it.

I used to have 140mm Pikes before some scumbag stole the forks off my bike when I left it locked up for 45 mins. I now have 100mm Pace and it just doesn't feel the same. If I could afford to buy new pair of 140mm I definitely would.

I've got U-Turn Reba's on mine - 85-115mm. I generally use the fork at 115mm for off road and wind it down when using it as my commuter. It feels about right at 115mm, althought to be honest it's OK at 85mm too.

Some old Pace RC40XCams in mine, 100-130mm. Anodising on stanchions worn through at 130mm so wound to about 110 most of time. Bike rides best at 120mm.

140mm Vanillas on my 853, which are only about 3mm loncer A-to-C than a 130mm Revelation. Works fine, I get ALL the travel. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, it's def the A-to-C that makes the difference. I ran 130mm Minutes a couple of times and the handling was awful. Loved F100s and Rebas at 115mm though!

120. Reba teams. They were at 100 but since changing them to 120 it's transformed the ride- much better imo

Re- set Revs at 115mm here, tried 80, 100. 120. 130 and 115 seems best but length of fork will make a difference ie Fox Vans I believe are shorter

130mm dual air revs, so fixed travel. I like it like that, bit slacker, nice lot of travel

+1 Zoolander.

Replaced my battered old 100mm Reba Races with shiny new Reba Teams, and took the spacer out to set the travel to 120mm travel before fitting them. I won't be going back to 100mm.
