They did me a deal on a dropper too. Quite impressed with PX tbh.
Good result I'd say.
Surprised everyone saying it looks like it’s been abused.
My mountain bikes all look like that after about two weeks.
Are your mountain bikes titanium? I've got a titanium wedding ring that's been on my finger for 20 years. I work in a workshop and never take it off. I do outdoor stuff pretty much relentlessly. It still looks mint. Scratching up titanium (let alone gouging it) is a vocation that Mrchrist has clearly been taking seriously!
Glad the Op got a solution he is happy with though and fair play to px for looking after a loyal company.
Not all warranties are equal.
When we are weighing up bike options. We often look at the overall price and the components etc. We rarely ever compare warranties and after sales customer service and hope we never need it. It's usually only those who have been stung before consider it. A bit like cheap car insurance, it's great until you make a claim.
PX ti frames have a 2 year warranty but Titus have a "lifetime" warranty for what good that is. There's lots of little writing and if buts and maybes. Both bikes are roughly the same price.
Then other brands like alpkit have a 10 year warranty which probably means 10 years. They are known for good customer service.
The recent giant thread highlighted this and put me off buying a giant.
Even Halfords offer better warranties than the premium brands. So why do we pay more for a premium brand and get less? Do we just buy into the marketing BS?
35% off so less than there usual sale 🙂 prices
In all seriousness if your happy that's all that matters
