[#3869443]

2.2 kg for a sliding drop out inbred and 2.5 kg for a vertical drop out (less material from the pic on the web site)...
Go and figure.

One measurement includes fork sag, the other doesn't.

The specs for all frames are held in HTML table format in a csv file that's shared across Px and OO for all frames.
It's a bit of a nightmare to edit.

So you're looking at buying an Inbred, but are worried about the weight? I'd suggest you're looking at the wrong bike, my friend.

Perhaps a ScandAl?

Not looking to buy an inbred. To be honest I wouldn't buy a new frame on the internet, too much to worry about. I was just curious as to why the ss frame with more material is lighter than the vertical dropout one.

I would suggest that they're different generations of frame; they were re-designed a couple of years ago, in line with the CEN regs.

But judging by Brant's replies above, that looks unlikely.

Pretty sure my second gen 16" slot drop was 2.3kg when I weighed it.
The 18" 29er version was 2.6kg.

Both rode lovely. Frames that cheap shouldn't ride that well. 🙂

The Scandal 29er is still down as:

Approx. Frame Weight (g) 2495

Is that per page?
